Dodgers Deal Padres 7-1 Defeat
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres, 7-1. Los Angeles pitcher and Bogota, Colombia, native Gil Bravo led the way. The Dodgers raised their record to 68-25.
In the top of the first, Roy Lazzaro ambushed a 2-2 changeup from Ben Memon and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Los Angeles a quick 2-0 lead.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bravo.
