Criswell Shines in 9-4 Chicago Win
The Chicago Cubs beat the Colorado Rockies, 9-4, at Wrigley Field. Nick Criswell, in particular, was impressive. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times. Ryan Ahlstrom picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-2. He struck out 9 in 7.1 innings. Chicago currently is in third place in the National League Central Division at 69-56.

Criswell contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Chicago in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-0, Criswell took a fastball from Rob Dillon and stroked the home run to right. His 26th home run of the season allowed the Cubs to leap in front, 4-2.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Criswell.
