A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Omaha Storm Chasers and Iowa Cubs.

The Iowa Cubs went down to defeat to Vic Torres and his Omaha teammates. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Storm Chasers. Sean Robbins recorded the save for Omaha, his 8th of the season.

The Storm Chasers got a lift from left fielder Matt McElhose, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a solo home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Storm Chasers on top, 4-2.

"We had a good game plan," Torres said, "and we were able to execute it."

Omaha bumps their record to 38-43 with the win.
