Dzik Silences Springfield Bats
|
Tulsa Drillers starter David Dzik turned in a top-notch performance against the Springfield Cardinals at ONEOK Field. The result was a win for the Drillers, 5-0. Tulsa, at 57-32, holds down first place in the North Division.
Dzik imposed his will on the Cardinals, scattering 6 hits over 8.2 innings while striking out 9. The right-hander upped his season record to 7-3.
"Good win for us," said Dzik. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
