Royals Win, Baeza slugs 2 home runs
|
Kansas City first baseman Jordan Baeza had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Cleveland Guardians, 6-3. Kansas City reliever George Dunham picked up the win to move to 1-0. Matt Quint suffered the loss. The Guardians, now 5-17, continue their poor start.
In the top of the sixth, Baeza put his team in front with his 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Matt Quint, made it 6-3, Kansas City.
"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Baeza.
