Blue Jays Saddle Orioles with 4-0 Loss
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles.
Toronto Blue Jays starter Adrian Korner hurled his team past the Baltimore Orioles, 4-0. Korner got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 4 over 5.2 innings. Korner allowed no runs.
Justin Dupree came through for Toronto when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike sinker to center field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Korner said after the game.
The win takes Toronto to 16-8.
