Fightin Phils-Fisher Cats Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Thursday, July 16th , 2099 The league commissioner's office announced today that Adam Beam of the Fightin Phils and Ruben Ruiz of the Fisher Cats have both been suspended for 4 games for fighting in the recent game between New Hampshire and Reading at FirstEnergy Stadium. In the current season, Beam has put up a .230 batting average with 43 hits, 3 home runs, 8 runs batted in and scored 15 runs. Thus far this season, Ruiz has worked 45.2 innings with 39 strikeouts en route to a 4-2 record and a 2.56 ERA. |
