Espinosa Pitches Cardinals to Shutout Victory Saturday, May 9th , 2099 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals as starter Ivan Espinosa shut out the Northwest Arkansas Naturals 1-0 at Arvest Ballpark. The Springfield pitcher struck out 7 and walked 1 while allowing 4 hits. "Espinosa was good but he wasn't flawless," Northwest Arkansas manager Nick Belzer said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Springfield, but this is on us."
