Stockton Starter Named CAL's Best Pitcher Friday, May 1st , 2099 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Justin Jacobson of the Stockton Ports. He captured the California League Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in April. Jacobson started 5 games, threw 30.2 innings, yielded 24 hits and logged a 4-1 record. He put down 27 batters on strikes, walked 9 and compiled a 1.76 ERA. Opposing teams batted .214 against him. |
