Ardan Shuts Out Cougars, 3-0 Sunday, July 26th , 2099 Steve Ardan scattered 4 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 3-0 Lake County Captains victory over the Kane County Cougars at Classic Park. The 24-year-old Ardan whiffed 12 and allowed no walks in the game. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Ardan said later. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."
