It's Over: BlueClaws Stop Cozart Thursday, June 11th , 2099 Bob Cozart's 21-game hitting streak was snapped today at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The 23-year-old Kannapolis Intimidators center fielder failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats in the game against the Lakewood BlueClaws, but Kannapolis came out the winner, 7-5. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Bob," Intimidators manager Brett Cravey said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." Currently Cozart is batting .391 with 27 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
