Rays Lose Menard for Season Sunday, July 5th , 2099 Tampa Bay (GCL) reliever John Menard suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Nationals. According to club doctors Menard has a ruptured disc. Although Menard has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. |
