Astros Ellsworth Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, April 11th , 2099 No matter what the Arizona Diamondbacks threw at him today, Erik Ellsworth hit it. He easily handled Diamondbacks pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Astros to a 14-9 triumph at Chase Field. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Ellsworth's quip, Diamondbacks skipper Terrell Bailey said he "would take him up on that next time."
