Rehab Setback for Pat Wilson Friday, May 1st , 2099 The Oakland Athletics received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Pat Wilson would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Wilson, who is currently out with back spasms, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 29-year-old first baseman will have to spend another one week in treatment. Wilson is presently batting .309 with 4 home runs, 12 runs scored and 14 RBIs. His OBP is .337. |
