Saturday, August 31st , 2097
Kevin Stark of the Kansas City Royals and Ryan Sassi of the Minnesota Twins will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Royals-Twins game at Kauffman Stadium.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Stark and Sassi will begin serving them soon.

For the season Stark has hit .275 with 31 home runs and 90 RBIs. He has played in 119 games and scored 75 times.

For the season his stats show Sassi has no saves in 7 relief appearances with a 3-10 record and 5.82 ERA.
