The Cincinnati Reds have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of right fielder Chris Collier to a 2-year, $16,000,000 contract.
Both Collier and the Reds are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement.
Collier has played in 682 games with a .324 lifetime batting average. Among his 893 hits are 208 doubles, 23 triples and 63 home runs. He also has scored 401 runs and driven in 347 runs.
