In Extras, Reds Beat Dodgers
|
The Cincinnati Reds earned a close win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, thanks in part to Paul Edler. The Cincinnati left-hander played a key role in the 16-inning, 3-2 victory. The win leaves Cincinnati with a record of 18-11.
Jason Bruner came through with a big-time hit for Cincinnati. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the 16th inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Paul was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Cincinnati manager BJ Gorman.
