San Francisco Sent Home with 6-2 Loss
|
The Minnesota Twins beat the San Francisco Giants, 6-2, at AT&T Park. Chris Pope, in particular, was impressive. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Joel Kull got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. The loss drops San Francisco to 13-15.
Early in the game, Pope had a 3-run home run for Minnesota. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Twins on top, 3-0.
"A great game, a great day," said Pope about the win. "I can't complain."
