Chicago and Cleveland took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Cleveland had no answer for Chicago White Sox starter Jeff Brown, who flummoxed Guardians hitters as the White Sox cruised to victory, 9-1. Chicago is off to a hot start at 22-10.

Brown ran roughshod over the Cleveland lineup. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 1-1 on the season.

"Jeff's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Bryce Reigns, the White Sox manager.
