Fama Silences Milwaukee Bats
|
In a tight contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers, Chris Fama was the determining factor. The St. Louis right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. Dave Driskill earned the save, his 8th. The Cardinals now have a record of 21-12 with the win over Milwaukee.
Fama earned the win, going 8 strong innings for St. Louis. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Milwaukee hitters had little success against him.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Fama.
