The Las Vegas Hustle earned a win at Las Vegas Ballpark, stopping the Texas Rangers, 7-0. Starting pitcher Danny Ahlers played a big role in his team's success. Ahlers went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-1. The Rangers fall to 14-19 and continue their uneven start to the 2098 season.

The Rangers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Hustle going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 30-year old catcher Karl Robbins came to the plate. Robbins hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 fastball from Texas hurler Ricardo Chavez. It was Robbins's 6th double of the year.
