The Milwaukee Brewers overcame a good performance by Washington center fielder Chris Rutigliano to knock off Washington, 9-7, at Nationals Park. Rutigliano went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Ray Dunham earned his 10th save, after closing out the game. Milwaukee is 4th in the National League Central Division with a record of 16-17.

Catcher Casey Keasling made an impact for Milwaukee, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Dave Barnes in the top of the third. For the contest, Keasling was 1 for 5 with a triple.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Keasling told the Milwaukee Gazette.
