Down to Defeat Go Nationals, 7-2
The Los Angeles Dodgers stopped the Washington Nationals, 7-2, behind an impressive performance from Josh Parham. The 24-year old right fielder made life miserable for Washington pitching. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win makes Los Angeles 18-16.

Los Angeles took a 4-0 lead on Parham's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Nick Palmer in the top of the sixth, propelled Los Angeles to the win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Parham told the Los Angeles Gazette.
