The Chicago Cubs knocked off the Cincinnati Reds, 6-4, in National League action at Wrigley Field. Chicago pitcher and Castro Valley, California, native Sean Price had an outstanding performance. Chicago reliever Jonathan Hager picked up the win, raising his record to 3-1. Dave Buskey was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Cubs have a record of 24-12.

Chicago got a clutch hit from Hector Naranjo. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"The crowd was juiced," said Naranjo.
