The Washington Nationals got a good effort from starter Pat Yarnall in defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks at Nationals Park. The final score was 6-1. The win makes Washington 26-11.

In the bottom of the sixth, Manny Hernandez delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Washington shortstop hit a run-scoring single, putting the Nationals in front, 6-1.

"Pat gave us everything he had," said Washington manager Noah Fourie.
