Nationals Use Late Rally to Win
Nationals fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

Washington catcher Gerwin Beekhuizen played a vital role in his team's 4-3 conquest of Cincinnati. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs for Washington. Washington reliever Dallas Cart was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Zion Carter.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Beekhuizen hit a fastball from Zion Carter for a solo home run. The Nationals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Beekhuizen.

The Nationals are now 18-19, while the Reds fall to 19-20.
