Los Angeles Angels starter Kenneth Cluett kept the San Francisco Giants hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. Chris Bateman wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. The first-place Angels lifted their record to 21-16.

Los Angeles third baseman Ben Abbott helped the Angels go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Abbott hit a run-scoring single off San Francisco pitcher Justin Gage.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
