The Milwaukee Brewers downed the New York Mets, 1-0, at Miller Park. Milwaukee pitcher Doug Taub definitely brought his A-game. The Brewers have a winning streak of 5 games.

Milwaukee went up, 1-0, on Pat Yaeger's 14th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Yaeger hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Mike Newman shaking his head.

Yaeger called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
