Cubs Win at Home, 3-1
In a low-scoring affair between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers, pitcher Fumikazu Nakahama was the difference between victory and defeat. The Chicago left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Cubs win. Andrew Gray earned save number 11 this season. Milwaukee's current losing streak is now 4 games.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Cubs had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when designated hitter Willie Lopez hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Kyle Brent and made the score 1-0, Cubs. Lopez was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.

"All in all, I thought Fumikazu pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Chicago manager Vin Calia.
