4-1 Phillies Win over Braves Evens Season Record
|
Philadelphia left-hander Ryan Wright pitched his team to victory over the Atlanta Braves at Coca-Cola Field. The final score was 4-1. The Phillies go to 20-20, putting them third in the National League East Division.
In the bottom of the eighth, Eric Fairweather stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Braves were trailing 4-1, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when Ryan Hill made a terrific pitch and Fairweather grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Atlanta comeback.
