Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Hunter Wright Stadium.

The Kingsport Mets downed the Pulaski Yankees, 8-0, at Hunter Wright Stadium. Kingsport pitcher Troy Carey definitely brought his A-game. The victory makes Kingsport 3-3.

The Yankees had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Mets going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old second baseman Terry Bibeau came to the plate. Bibeau hit a bases-clearing triple on a first pitch fastball from Pulaski hurler Quincy Cunningham. It was Bibeau's 1st triple of the year.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Kingsport manager Juan Nunez.
