Rangers Rally For Late Win Over Angels
Texas rode a good effort from starter Ricardo Chavez to beat the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The final score was 7-2. The winner was Victor Luna in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Zach Tymon took the loss. Los Angeles now has a 5-game losing streak.

Texas got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Brian Ruble. The designated hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 5-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"We had a good game plan," Chavez said, "and we were able to execute it."
