The Boston (Rk+) Red Sox beat the Elizabethton Twins, 2-0. Boston (Rk+) pitcher and New York, native Jeremy Hood led the way. The save went to Guadalupe Castro, number 1 for him.
Boston (Rk+) took a 2-0 lead on Tom Carey's 3rd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Carey hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Elizabethton pitcher Carlos Sierra shaking his head.
