The Burlington Royals just keep winning.
The Burlington Royals grabbed a win, 10-2, over the Princeton Rays at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. Burlington left fielder Damian Loera was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Garrett Youngblood went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. The left-hander struck out 5 and walked 4. With the win, he ups his record to 2-0 this season.
Manny Hernandez, the Burlington shortstop, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to make the score 5-1, Royals. For the game, Hernandez went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
