Loss to Reds Extends Milwaukee Losing Streak
|
The Cincinnati Reds rode a solid performance from 35-year-old starting pitcher Curtis Moore to a win, beating the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-2, at Great American Ball Park. Milwaukee is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Pat Warner had a big solo home run for the Reds in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Cincinnati leading 3-2 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 35-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Zuwiski and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Reds on top, 4-2.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Moore.
