Kingsport left-hander Jimmy Skuza helped his team edge Bluefield by the score of 2-1. Skuza kept the opposing lineup in check. Chris Ashworth, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Blue Jays are now 5-9.

Kingsport fans at Hunter Wright Stadium were rewarded for their support of the Mets with a nice win.
