Twins Suffer 6-1 Loss to Astros
|
The Greeneville Astros topped the Elizabethton Twins, 6-1, in Appalachian League action at Joe O'Brien Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Greeneville pitcher Adam Vance. The win has Greeneville at 10-4.
Josue Chavarria came through for Greeneville when he hit a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a two-strike fastball to left field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Chavarria.
