Rays Beat Mets, 7-4

Danny Arango left his imprint on the 7-4 Princeton win against the Kingsport Mets. Arango, who is tied for 2nd in the APP in triples with 2, was 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Danny Fluegge, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Mets to 3 runs on 3 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 5. Juan Gerardino collected his 2nd save.
One of the key players for the Rays was second baseman Steve Pacheco, who drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Pacheco went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs.
"I like our moxie," said Rays manager Nate Enriquez.
The Rays now have a mark of 10-6.
