White Sox Take Tight Tangle
In a tight game between the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals, pitcher Felix Martinez was terrific on the mound. The Chicago left-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. The winner was Chicago reliever Ruben Guevara, now 2-0. The loser was Matthew Wallace. The win makes Chicago 32-12.

Leo Lepe drove in one run for Chicago. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Lepe, who led the AL in home runs with 46 in 2107, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Kansas City hurler Matthew Wallace, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the White Sox a 1-0 lead.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Lepe.
