Giants Make It 4 Straight with 6-1 Win
The Danville Braves and San Francisco (Rk+) Giants riveted fans at Ballpark of Anchorage.

Jeff Rotondi was nothing short of phenomenal for the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants. The 22-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Danville Braves, 6-1. The win was credited to Dustin Kirby in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jesus Amezcua took the loss. Bobby Pineda nailed down his 2nd save.

The Giants got a big at-bat from first baseman Aaron Sadler. For the game, Sadler went 1-5 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave San Francisco (Rk+) a 2-1 lead.

"It's Baseball 101," said San Francisco (Rk+) manager Jeremy Marshall. "Fundamentals."
