Rays Win with Late Rally
|
Behind the hitting of Alex Santiago, the Princeton Rays stopped the Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles, 3-2, in 10 innings. Santiago was 2-4 with a home run and a double for the Rays. With the win, Princeton raised its record to 23-9.
The Rays got a clutch hit from center fielder Jose Ceja. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rays.
"That last inning was electric," Ceja said.
