Braves Come Back Late to Top Pirates, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring game between the Danville Braves and the Bristol Pirates, pitcher Nate Stursa was the difference-maker. The Danville right-hander was tough as nails in the 3-2 Braves win. Stursa, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Danville is 20-12 and Bristol, with the loss, 13-19.
