Braves Drop 2-1 Decision
|
Washington Nationals starter Jesus Duran worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Atlanta Braves, 2-1. Washington is now 27-17, Atlanta 25-19.
Chris Anderson, who is on pace for 92 RBI this season, had a direct impact on the outcome. Anderson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Washington up, 2-0.
"The Nationals earned it," said Atlanta manager Dan Hoagland. "Hats off to them."
