Reds Earn Clutch Win, 4-3
The Cincinnati Reds dealt the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 loss at Great American Ball Park. Eric Starnes, who finished 2nd in the NL in batting average with .351 in 2104, went 2-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. At 24-21, the Reds find themselves in 4th place in the National League Central Division.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Cincinnati. That's when Allan Alessi hit a run-scoring double off 34-year old right-handed pitcher Wally Sharp to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Alessi said.
