The Los Angeles Angels reigned over the New York Yankees in damp conditions.

Los Angeles used a superb performance from starting pitcher John Larson to down the New York Yankees, 5-1. Picking up the save was Ryan Masterson, his 2nd.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jason Johnson? The three-time All-Star Johnson stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Johnson told the Los Angeles Bulletin.

The Angels go to 20-23, putting them 4th in the American League West Division.
