Twins Absorb 10-7 Loss at H.P. Hunnicutt Field
The Princeton Rays topped the Elizabethton Twins, 10-7, in Appalachian League action at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Princeton second baseman Lupe Mondragon. The win went to Miguel Jauregui in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Brian Banister took the loss. Jorge Guzman stitched up the save, his 1st.

Mondragon was 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 against the Twins. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Princeton in front, 1-0.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Mondragon.

With the win, Princeton raised its record to 22-15.
