Armando Lopez, who is tied for 7th in the APP with a 10.1 K/9 rate, played a key role in a gritty 2-0 Boston (Rk+) Red Sox win against the Pulaski Yankees. The 4th-place Red Sox improved to 16-21.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Lopez. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Red Sox.
