The San Francisco (Rk+) Giants wanted a good start from Tim King -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-0 San Francisco (Rk+) win over the Elizabethton Twins at Ballpark of Anchorage. Austin Clouser had a big 2-run double for the Giants in the bottom of the third inning. With San Francisco (Rk+) leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a splitter from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Steve Buck and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Giants ahead, 3-0.
"I'm happy we won," said King. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
