The Boston (Rk+) Red Sox handed the Elizabethton Twins a sound defeat, 11-0, at Joe O'Brien Field. Rich Peterson, who is tied for 3rd in the APP in stolen bases with 15, was a main contributor to the win. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Boston (Rk+). Boston (Rk+) bumps their record to 21-18 with the win.

With Boston (Rk+) leading 4-0 in the top of the sixth, Peterson came up to bat against Elizabethton pitcher Miguel Arevalo. Peterson hit a slider to center for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Red Sox on top, 8-0.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Peterson.
