The Elizabethton Twins faced a tough opponent in Bluefield pitcher Brian Bunting, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Joe O'Brien Field by a final score of 4-2 in 15 innings. Bunting went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Elizabethton reliever Santos Bueno picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Tuccillo was saddled with the loss. Elizabethton, at 22-16, occupies 4th place in the West.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 15th for Elizabethton. That's when Ramon Ramirez hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Tuccillo to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This place was rockin'," Ramirez said.
